Privacy
Daily Darts is a free game from Dayplay Games, a brand of Winter Watermelon. No account or purchase is needed.
Local scores
This browser saves your practice best, up to 35 daily bests, and your unfinished round including its date, targets and dart positions. These records do not sync across devices. Clear local best scores in How to play. Starting a new round replaces an unfinished one. If storage is blocked, records last only while this page is open.
Optional leaderboards
Choose a player name to post completed daily scores, or play anonymously. Dayplay uses a first-party cookie across its game sites to remember your player. Optional passwords are stored as salted hashes. An account email is optional, private and unverified; it is separate from new-game subscriptions. Password reset is unavailable. Manage or delete your player and scores at Profile. Daily leaderboard scores expire after 14 days; names with no scores expire 30 days after creation. Scores are reported by the browser for casual competition, with no prizes.
Game analytics
Outside the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics is on by default unless you opt out or send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. In those regions, or when your country is unknown, we ask first. This game does not record sessions.
One browser across Dayplay
When analytics are on, PostHog, based in the United States, receives page addresses with private codes removed, referrers, campaign tags, clicks and taps, form submissions without typed content, scroll depth, time on page, performance, errors, browser and device details, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Requests pass through this game’s own site. Named game events measure starts, completions, retries, sharing and score ranges.
A random identifier in a first-party cookie connects this browser across dayplaygames.com and its game sites for up to one year. PostHog also keeps state in this site’s local storage and a first-party cookie. This analytics identifier is separate from player names and scores, does not link devices, and is used only for product improvement. Analytics events are kept for at least one year. Test and team browsers have separate shared markers so they are excluded from player counts.
Each site keeps its own analytics permission. In consent regions, no analytics identifier is read or set until you allow analytics here. Refusing or turning analytics off on any Dayplay site removes the shared identifier and sets a refusal cookie for up to one year, stopping browser analytics across Dayplay until you explicitly turn them back on. Other sites retain their refusals. Browser privacy signals take precedence. Previously delivered events remain; a later opt-in starts a new identifier.
When analytics are allowed, Google Analytics, based in the United States, also measures visits and named game actions. It uses first-party browser and session cookies, processes connection information including IP addresses, and receives fixed routes, approved campaign labels and referring site hostnames. We do not send form contents or email addresses. Advertising signals and personalization are disabled. Google event data is retained for up to 14 months. The same consent and turn-off controls apply to both services; turning analytics off removes Google cookies. We do not sell analytics data or use it for advertising.
Before analytics consent, or after declining the prompt, we may count anonymous visits and game starts, finishes and retries. These event-only totals contain no player identifier, IP address, user agent or referrer. They are stored in Cloudflare D1 in EU jurisdiction for up to 90 days and are not sent to PostHog or Google. Turning measurement off below also stops these totals. External embedded play sends no analytics. The installed Dayplay collection runs this game in its own frame and follows the same analytics choices as the direct site.
Analytics preferences are separate from your saved game scores. Shared Dayplay preferences may also apply across the collection. If browser storage is unavailable, choices last only on this page.
Hosting providers receive connection information needed to serve the game, including IP addresses in their logs. This is separate from the analytics choices above.

Home-screen and new-game invitations
While you are choosing a game, or after a round, we may offer a shortcut to the Dayplay collection, where you can add the collection to your home screen using the options your browser supports. This game does not install the collection or ask for notification permission. After installing, you may see an optional invitation to get new-game announcements by email. You must confirm that you are 16 or older and want these emails, then confirm using the email link. No account is needed. You can unsubscribe any time. New-game announcements are sent only after confirmation; see the collection privacy page for how email subscriptions are handled.
Nonidentifying preference cookies are shared across dayplaygames.com and its game sites: dayplay-completed-games contains only a count capped at 2 for seven days; dayplay-prompt-step contains only the fixed value email for seven days; dayplay-prompt-until contains a cooldown time, dayplay-install-invited contains only 1, and dayplay-install-offer contains only c (closed) or m (set aside by play once), for seven days (30 days after requesting confirmation). The collection can set dayplay-app-installed to 1 for up to one year when installation or standalone use is detected. Local storage also remembers these cooldown times, and session storage remembers whether the invitation was closed in this tab. These preferences have no player ID and are not used for analytics. No email address is saved in these browser preferences. If storage is blocked, progress is remembered only while this page stays open.
